1. Acknowledgment of Risk

Participation in the Mongolian Empire Gravel Expedition involves inherent risks associated with remote adventure
travel and cycling in Mongolia.
These risks may include remote locations far from medical facilities, rough or unpaved terrain, extreme weather
conditions, river crossings and wildlife encounters, mechanical failures, and limited access to emergency medical
care.

2. Health & Fitness

I confirm that I am physically fit and capable of participating in this expedition and have disclosed any relevant
medical conditions.

 

3. Assumption of Risk

I voluntarily choose to participate in the Mongolian Empire Gravel Expedition and assume all risks associated with
this activity.

4. Release of Liability

I hereby release Mon-Otogton LLC, its organizers, guides, staff, and partners from any liability for injury, illness,
death, or property damage related to my participation.

5. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mon-Otogton LLC and its staff against any claims arising from my
participation.

6. Emergency Medical Treatment​

In case of injury or medical emergency, I authorize Mon-Otogton LLC to obtain emergency medical treatment on
my behalf if necessary.

7. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Mongolia.

8. Refund Policy / Conditions

1. Cancellation by Participant:

   • Cancellations made 30 days or more before the Event start date will receive a 50% refund of the registration fee.

   • Cancellations made between 14 and 30 days before the Event will receive a 25% refund of the registration fee.

   • Cancellations made less than 14 days before the Event are non-refundable.

2. Event Cancellation by Organizers:

   • If the Event is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, government restrictions), participants will receive a full refund of registration fees or a credit toward a future Event.

3. Partial Participation / No-Show:

   • No refunds will be provided for partial participation, missed days, or failure to attend the Event for any reason.

4. Travel and Accommodation Costs:

   • Participants are responsible for all personal travel, accommodation, and other expenses. These are non-refundable, even if the Event is canceled or postponed.
