Our Story

We are Otgonbat and Tsaschiher, two childhood friends from Mongolia with a shared dream. From a young age, we have felt a deep connection to the vast, untouched nature of our homeland.

When Otgonbat moved to Belgium twenty years ago, he discovered a new passion cycling. What started with road racing grew into more than fifteen years of experience on the bike. With the rise of gravel biking, we saw a unique opportunity. The endless steppes of Mongolia provide the perfect setting for adventurous cycling journeys.

What began as a small idea, combining our love for cycling with our deep roots in Mongolia, gradually grew into something bigger. That idea became Visitsteppe.com.

Today, we proudly organize gravel bike tours and guided bikepacking adventures that take riders far beyond the beaten path, to places few ever reach. Authentic, adventurous, and straight from the heart.

Our greatest ambition for the future is to become an organization capable of organizing the largest gravel Gran Fondo in Asia.
